Essential Oils

Essential Oils – My Favorite Roller Ball Recipes

Essential Oils are quickly becoming what I am using to enhance our everyday health and wellness . I am also using them frequently for cleaning and deodorizing around the house (Lemon Oil is AMAZING at taking out stains in everything it seems). The oils are also really helping my allergy and sleeping issues (not to mention is has been a life saver for helping our toddler go to bed at night!).

Last week I made a couple or roller bottles and they have made using the oils so convenient!  I ordered the roller bottles from Amazon (make sure you purchase glass and metal roller balls work better than the plastic ones), and I already had a label maker so I used it. They came out cute, no?

I am preferring the roller balls so far for many reasons…the first is that they are premade, so it saves me time having to mix or dilute oils when I need them. They are also very easy to apply and being mixed with carrier oils I think they will make my oils last much longer.

Below are the recipes that are my favorites currently. Each has their own purpose and their are some for adults and some for kids. You can roll these blends on the back of the neck, the temples, the bottom of the feet, the spine, on cuts, minor bites and burns, or on the stomach and the toes.

For each of these recipes you will put the essential oils in first, then TOP OFF the roller ball with a carrier oil. Here I used Honest Company’s Oil Blend but you can use Grapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, etc.

These recipes that I have shared today are ones that have worked for me and my family, but I think it’s also important for you to do your own research as well and see what works for you and your family. Not everyone is the same so not everyone will respond the same way to all blends. If you find some aren’t working for you, you may need a stronger or weaker blend or you can try out similar oils to see if they work better for you. Also, all the oils that I use are specific to Young Living. I have done my research and this is the company of oils I have found are the best, pure and therapeutic so I trust them completely when it comes to the health of myself and my family.

  1. I started using young living oils just a few days ago so am pretty new at concocting my own blends. I’d LIke to ask the size of your bottles since your recipes indicate that Id need to top up with carrier oil. 🙂 are they 5ml or 10ml bottles? Thanks a lot!
